Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) Manager Mr. Shunichiro Kurita contributed an essay titled, “The Significance of Local Regulations for Dementia and Trends Among Advanced Municipalities.”
The essay was based on “Steps Toward Regulations for Dementia That Achieve Citizen-Centered Dementia Policy,” an interim report and proposal presented in March 2021 by the Comparative Research Group on Local Regulations for Dementia co-hosted by HGPI and Designing for Dementia. In addition to sharing information on newly-enacted regulations, Mr. Kurita also discussed the significance of regulations for dementia as well as key points in the formulation process.
